Teresa J. Moore, FCSI, is the founder and Managing Director of ACT Outsourcing Solutions, LLC. Having spent her entire career of nearly 30 years in the restaurant industry, Teresa is an expert in the processing of financial transactions and efficiencies. She also understands the operations of the business resulting in the ability to evaluate key operational components and identify problem areas for her clients. She has been a key factor in the discovery of fraud and embezzlement cases during her career. Teresa’s experience working in private industry as well as public accounting brings a wealth of understanding to the business from many perspectives.
Prior to founding ACT, Teresa spent almost 9 years with SS&G Financial Services, Inc. where she was the catalyst and Director of the Franchise Accounting division. Through her leadership, this division was able to implement processes and technology similar to those enjoyed by larger outsource providers. This became a very important part of the firm’s national restaurant practice.
Prior to joining SS&G Financial Services, Inc., Teresa served as Chief Administrative Officer and Controller for a large multi-unit, multi-state Applebee’s and Burger King Franchise group for 18 years. During her tenure with this closely held company, Teresa was responsible for internal audits, finance and reporting. She was involved in the growth of the company including construction contracts, equipment purchasing, and liquor license acquisition. She was also instrumental in the design of the company’s Policy and Procedures Manual as well as the human resource program.
Teresa has been a certified member of FCSI (Foodservice Consultant Society International) since 2004 and has written numerous articles for industry publications. She attended Northern Kentucky University majoring in accounting, is active in several professional and community organizations and resides in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky with her husband.
